We use our facilities all the time as we rally most weekend or use CL's In fact when we are on commercial sites we only use the shower for convenience of having available water but we wash etc in the van. We always use the toilet van even on commercial sites. I think its waht you get used to.

Yes to both.

I find it much easier (and pleasanter) to shower in the van without having to get dressed first, and then have all the van's space to get dressed in, rather than putting on clothes, traipsing across the site, standing in line, getting dressed in a small confined space etc.

Well we are only allowed by hubby to use the toilet for certain types of ablutions - I think I can safely leave this to your imagination!

As to the shower I have only ever used it for washing down small muddy feet. I have heard it can cause damp in vans and also you would need so much water to make it worth while.

We always use the facilites at sites - they are usually pretty good although at some Cls you just get a breezeblock hut in a field!!

Hi Brian

When are you going? We're in Cornwall for three and a half weeks in the summer.

Ok Brian, it would be nice to meet up, looking forward to it. The first campsite we're stopping at is only 16 miles from where you're stopping.
