hello, anyone been, to this site, hopefully we are going in a few weeks. we normally go to keswick, (but its full) so thought we would try this one......thankyou to anyone with any comments...

Not been to this site, but it's in beautiful surroundings, although you have to use your own facilities as none on site. If it's peace and tranquility your after then a nice site to try is Irton House Farm at the top of Bassenthwaite Lake. It's a CL site with toilets and showers, and has a small games room with snooker and table tennis. (The grass is box-cut so no cuttings in the caravan!) The farmer is extrememly friendly and welcoming, and the views are stunning.
