Words just cannot describe the pain of losing a beloved pet.
Actually, their more than just pets to us.
Part of the family.
I did post a while ago about our 15 year old Shih-Tzu,Oscar.
Unfortunately, almost 4 weeks ago we took the painful decision to free him from his pain and discomfort.
We knew it was almost "time",so we book the appointment at the vets and both of us took 3 weeks off work to be with him 24 hours a day.
On the morning,George(the wife) cooked him sausages, liver, bacon and for dessert,a little bit of chocolate(I know.....bad for dogs but........).
It just feels like someone has reached in and torn your heart out.
We were fortunate enough to attend(stood outside the gates due to covid restrictions,)his cremation and now have a little urn sat next to Spirit who we lost 3 years ago.
Included was a card with his pawprint and a lock of fur.
God bless you Oscar until were are together again, forever.xxxxx
May all of your furry friends continue to bring you happiness for a long, long time
