Many thanks for taking the time to give me the information about this site, it is much appreciated. I will take your advice about booking a pitch, as we would like to stay there for five days.Have stayed on this site a few times in the last couple of years,it is popular because it features with all the booking companies Select Sites etc it is clean not too big with small shop etc and fishing/boating lake. When you arrive or before if you contact them by phone or email ask if you can have a pitch by the flower cart, these are nice pitches set back a little bit and overlook the lake and have a good mix of sun and shade. If you like wine then you will be in heaven the site is surrounded by hundreds of vineyards a lot of whom provide tasting many in short walking distance (Chateau Tour St Pierre is a good one)the wine is St Emillion grand cru with some grand cru classe and 5 minutes up the road is Pomerol if you are well off and can afford their prices! The small town of St Emillion is about 1 mile away and is a delight to visit if you do visit the caves below the church.I hope you enjoy your stay, one word of caution if you have lively teenagers this may not be the best site for you as it is not commercial/lively but enjoyable all the more perhaps for that reason.
