Looks like our fridge 230V heater has stopped working, the manual is pretty sketchy about it.
Does anyone know how to access it without removing the fridge.
Could also be a ruptured fuse (fitted somewhere on the fridge),does anyone know where this fuse is located and how do you get to it.
Fridge is a Dometic 8 series fitted to a Bailey Rimini van.

First thing, there is no fuse on the fridge to worry about.
If when you remove the outside vent covers you can get to the whole of the chimney then you can replace through that aperture, if no access, then the fridge has to come out.

According to the Bailey owners manual there is a fuse, under trouble shooting "The fridge does not cool in 230V operation" the possible cause is "on board fuse defective" and the action is "fit new fuse" The question is where is the fuse and is it accessible without removing fridge.

My last and current Bailey have the fridge mains feed via a normal 3 pin plug and socket inside the next door cupboard. It is this fuse I believe you are looking for. Mine's actually floor mounted. Good luck.

Thanks Dustydog,
Spot on,found the 13A socket and plug just where you said, the 3 A fuse in the plug had ruptured, replaced it and fridge now cooling down.
Wonder why fuse operated in the first place - hoping it was a faulty fuse !
Thanks again.
