My new (2nd hand)caravan has a Dometic RM fridge fitted, the lock which should hold the door closed in transit was not working.
The lock is easy to remove it just clips on,the plastic slide has broken,its the type that slides across.
I have phoned a local dealer who said he has replaced quite a few of these and could get one in for me.When he told me that it was £12.00!!! i nearly fell off my chair, £12 quid!! for a bit of plastic that has not even lasted 6 months.
Have others come across this problem, for that price they should be better made.
