Dometic fridge plastic bottom shelf

Hi

Has anyone had a 2020 swift Eccles x or challenger x. If so did you get a clear plastic shelf to fit above the salad draw at the bottom of the fridge.

Although I can't answer your question, I have had 2 Lunar caravans fitted with the Dometic fridge. Bother came with only 3 vented shelves as shown on page 22 of the operating manual. The lower shelf covers the salad draw. I purchased an additional shelf to create a 4th compartment.

We have a Dometic fridge in our 2020 Coachman and there isn’t a plastic shelf. All wire ones. Boss tells me the previous Dometic was the same.

Hi.

After a long time and many emails and telephone calls l have now found out that the bottom shelf doesn't come with Very expensive caravan.

I can however order one (which l have) if l pay £41. What a diabolical way to make more money from the caravanner.

Next they may miss off the fridge door..and ask for more money to have one included.

You just cannot trust dealers to do a proper PDI. 😉

Blimey-my old van has just gone up in value by £41. Anyone want to buy a Coachman fridge tray with free Caravan thrown in? £10041 special offer!

At £41 I would live without it or make my own. Clear plastic sheets can be bought cheaply and could be cut to size.

Laser173. . You wanted an extra shelf . . I wanted an extra shelf so we both did the same thing: we bought one. . Job done. . And I kept mine and am using it in my new caravan. . Happy days
