Our fridge was working perfect, then when we had the van serviced , before i went back to pick van up i had a phone call to tell me that it wasnt working and i need a new circuit board , costing £140. i told them not to fit it and it worked after for a while. now its not cooling down , could they have damaged it when servicing?

Highly unlikely as the fridge is simply switched on and checked to see if it works on all power sources.

It is not disturbed unless the owner requests that the burner is serviced.

Hi Brian. I would have a word with Dometic, giving them the model No. etc.

On my Dometic it's a simple job to change the circuit board, just take a few digi photos of the connectors to make sure you get them back in the right place.

the circuit board on my 2004 dometic fridge cannot be accessed with out removing screws, now why should the dealer need to do that? have you actually had a service to the fridge?

as for cost to change that would depend on the price of the pcb, and the time to replace.

a new fridge is VERY expensive.
