Dometic fridge solonoid gas valve

Has anyone replaced one of these?
Is it a just a case of disconnecting and reconnecting the inlet and outlet gas connections and re connecting the two spade connections?

First off , you should not mess about with gas unless you have the the necessary equipment and training to make sure that once you have 'worked on gas systems' they are safe to use.Having said that if you insist on doing it your yourself then yes it's that simple as that. once done you should satisfy yourself that the gas fittings don't leak. Get yourself a gas detector such as one of these.

Neoteck Gas Leak Detector Natural Gas Detector with Audible & Visual Alarm, Portable Gas Sniffer to Locate Combustible Gas Leak Sources Like Methane, Propane for Home-Grey

Be aware that if your insurers find out you have worked on the gas systems and there's a fire/gas explosion they may reject your claim.
