Dometic toilet flush

Recently purchased a lunar clubman sb with a Dometic toilet. After being used to Thetford toilets we find that the flushing on the Dometic is not very efficient and also that it quickly runs out.
 
We have had both and never noticed any real difference in them except the holding tank on the Dometic seems to fill up quicker and does look smaller.
