Dometic toilet

Hi, the Dometic toilet in our Lunar is leaking pink flush between the porcelain bowl and the plasic cowl. It seems that that when flushing some of the pink is getting between the 2 bowls and finding it's way out via the front valve handle. Anyone else had this? Stripped it down and cleaned the rubber seal but seems not to have cured it. Anyone know the warranty? Out in France for a few more weeks and as it's a trickle and not a flood can easily manage.

Are there some screws to tighten between the top and bottom halves of the toilet which only become partially separated when you sit down?

Just in case you don't have them here are the Installation and Operation Manuals

Hopefully the dealer will sort it out on your return. Any of the flush water joints could be loose.

Hi. I had the same problem on my Lunar Delta, went through all the cleaning and lubricating seals but in the end it was a small plastic bend inside the unit that had broken. The two halves had remained in contact so that some fluid flushed and some went into the well.

Have the same problem. Pipework broken at joint. How did you resolve ? do I have to dismantle or can I feed in longer pipe and connect in cassette boc

As I was under warranty I had a local dealer come out and replace the plastic bend. Worked ok since. He did say mine was the third he had fixed in recent months.
