We are changing our awning from a steel framed Eurovent Soleria Lux (2005 used 3 times will sell for around £300) and are looking at either the Dorema Senator Lux or the Bradcot Classic. Can anyone comment on either of these two awnings and guide our steps? Thanks.

My dorema Cardinal is now on it's 3rd seasonal year. ie it's erected in March & left up until October. It has lasted really well against strong winds/storms etc. Only some slight fading of the colours shows it's not new.

I would definately recomend Dorema.

Hi, we are on our second dorema Madison and with its five roof poles the aluminium frame saves a god dael of weight. No probs in erecting or stabilty in bad weather. We use the hercules tensioner (Towsure) which gives a litle extra tension and makes assembly much easier.

Bradcot for me we are new to caravanning and were a bit apprehensive about putting ours up for the first time but it was a doddle.

Thanks for all the info. After much searching I found a dealer selling Isabella awnings costing not much more than a new Bradcot so that's what I've bought - an Isabella Commodore.
