DRAIN DOWN KIT ( for Thetford C 200 )

Hi

I have been having problems with draining down my thetford C200 toilet. Water goes every where.

Found this on E bay purchased one it works great. Here is the link

Just flush the water into the holding tank, then use a cut of from a plastic drinks bottle to divert the reaminder away when I remove the plug.

I can see the logic in the ebay item, but to my mind it is over priced for a tube and tap.

Like Del, I just empty the flush into the cassette for subsequent emptying but then drain the remainder into an empty margerine tub - it's only a thimble full.

On site I know roughly how much flush we use per day so I allow it to run down to almost nothing at the end of a stay - leaving a litre in doesn't affect the handling.

I only drain it down once a year, at the end of autumn.

Good idea - rubbish price, a rip-off, someone will come out with a cheaper one. In the meantime I will contiue to use handraulics as RogerL and Del. Good luck JTS.
