Draining board

We have found that the draining board as supplied to be awkward and cumbersome. Last week, when visiting IKEA we found this and decided that at £1.75 it was worth a punt. Looking at the pictures it is not designed as a draining board but for small amounts of dishes it works a treat.


And so easy to store.

WE have used one like this for many years as the 'lip' can be set over the sink edge so it truly is a drainer for the crockery etc!

We have a round sink! A ‘proper’ drainer for that came with the van. But a nuisance to get out and put away. The IKEA one does not hold much but for small ammounts, which is all we have nowadays. It’s ideal. Although it does not drain into the sink, it holds items up so the can drain and keeps the water ready for disposal.
