Draining the water system in a Geist 555 caravan

Fellow caravaners,

Could you assist, I am having difficulty draining the water from a Geist 555, 2004 model. It has a Turma water heater and mixer taps at sinks and shower. I an very fearful of the frost.

Many thanks,

Padraig

Padraig, open the drain valve located next to the water heater, the small yellow lift up lever, should be upright to drain, laying flat when closed.

Put the mixer taps in the central position and open them by lifting the lever. This opens both hot and cold pipes.

With the shower, same as the sink tap but additionally, remove the shower head and drain the shower hose, leaving it so it lays facing down in the shower tray.

Put the shower head away safely after shaking all the water from it.

Check under the van for any low level drain plugs and if there are any, remove the plugs to drain , then replace the plugs.
