i have noticed i have a small peace of dry root under the window lock on my front window. what is the best thing to treat this with so that is no spreading.

Caravans very, very, rarely if ever, suffer from dry rot.

What you most likely have is water ingress and the subsequent damage from that.

Finding the cause of the ingress is the only way to stop it, removing rotten wood and wall board is the cure after resealing.
