Dry wash waterless cleaner and polish

Stage two , 12 hours later , 80% of the 15 year old Wyoming is looking nearly new. No water , no Caravan shampoo, just Greased Lightning and elbow grease. The results of detailing and polishing have been very rewarding. The results so far are beyond my expectations. Think I’ll keep for another year😉👍F247E341-F124-4501-968F-FF161EF8592F.jpeg297F8659-AB98-46E3-8910-83A71F831D21.jpeg

Detailing means doing all the nooks and crannies internal window frames etc.
Then with plenty of good polishing cloths spray on the Greased Lightning. Apply elbow grease in circular movements, finally buff up with a clean dry cloth. Simple. Caravan takes considerably longer than a car🤪

Thanks. I’ve used Autoglym Aquawax on cars and caravan, but that’s applied after you’ve given a good shampoo and rinse. Being a nerd I even use a two bucket system. Somehow I’ve always been reluctant to try these waterless compounds as my cars and caravan tend to be distinctly grubby before I tackle them and I would be concerned about fine scratches developing. But knowing how you care for the van I may give it a try. Used it on the Touareg?

No. But I prefer Autoglym super Resin followed by a coat of Extra Gloss on the Touareg😉. The Wyoming was filthy. Using the correct cloths I can confirm no new blemishes have appeared today. If you can zoom in on the photos you will see the finish is excellent. A worthwhile experiment.

Nice job, DD, done mine today as well, car shampoo with Caruba wax, then a spray of Fenwicks after wash, looks great. Battery terminals redone, last thing is tyre pal sensor needs replacing. Ready for an off next week hopefully. Houghton mills, Huntingdon.

Hutch is the after wash the same as Fenwicks Bobby Dazzler. I used it for last three years but noticed a lot of paint fade, tar and bird dropping marks plus the usual over hanging branch scuffs. Off Friday week to North Devon, Westacott Farm. A big family get together.

Yes it was Bobby Dazzler, but two years ago I gave all the van except the roof a coating of "Mers" Hybrid wax, and the shine has been great, a bit of elbo grease required but worth it.
