Duplicated Forum Names

There appears to be someone else on here with the same forum name as me. I only noticed because they posted on a thread I'd never read before. Is there anything I can do - I have emailed the forum to ask as well.

the best thing you can do is, once logged onto the forum click on the "Edit Profile" link then change your nickname to something else.

I had the same problem as there were several "Marks" posting when I joined.

Sorry, but the forum does accept duplicate names. Best advice is to do as Brave-Fart suggests and change yours to something more unique.
 
I have to explain these posts now.

I thought it might be funny to make a post under the nickname "Jason and Janet" but as it changes all your old posts (I did not know) I had to change it back and had some difficulty - hence the . at the end of my name.

Of course all the posts have now changed back to my name so the original joke (if there was one) is now completely lost.

You can feel sorry for me if you want!
