My daughter’s fairly old Dyson stopped working and so she contacted Dyson to arrange for it to be collected for repair. She wasn’t too happy with a three week wait for collection. But today was collection day and she was miffed to receive a message from DPD that it was not going to be collected, and she should contact Dyson to reschedule. She’s somewhat fiesty so I can imagine her response when she was told it would be another three weeks before DPD could collect. So no doubt after bending the Customer Service persons ear she is now to receive an upgraded new model to be delivered tomorrow with full warranty. A1 service but they need to sort out their collection courier.

And my 28 year old Miele soldiers on :)
We still have our original Dyson corded which gets used periodically and for car cleaning too. But the Dyson cordless is so much easier to use and more efficient than the old corded upright, plus it is very much lighter.

We have a corded Miele Blizzard a couple of years old, but also bought the Dyson cordless as easier to use for a quick vacuum.

After a couple of months a plastic, rubber beading started falling apart and we were unsure whether the unit would then not be effective due to poor seal. They sent us a complete hear unit and did not want the old one back. A1 service! No wonder they are a top selling machine!
