We've just changed the V70 D5 for an E Class Merc (320 CDI) Estate. The factory fit towbar is a swivel jobbie, but costs in excess of £600 - too late now anyway on a used car! Has anyone had a detachable fitted that does not cut into the bumper or has a cover plate when the towbar is removed?
