I'm off tomorrow to the European Classic Caravan Rally. Back in five weeks.

emmerson,have a great time.When you come back tell us about it all.What qualifies as a classic these days and where are you going exactly?

Morning TC. The rally is from 12th-16th, at Rang de Fliers, near Berck, but we extend it into a holiday. We shall just wander around France, heading generally south and east, possibly into Switzerland. The only fixed point is to be back in St Omer three days before we leave France to have the dogs cleared by our friendly vet. Home sometime mid-June.

emmerson thanx for interrupting your loading up to tellus your itinerary.What caravan do you have?Ours is a 2003 Heritage,is it a CLASSIC yet? HIMSELF definitely qualifies.old but good!!!!

We also take our "Bears" with us everywhere and we use a lovely vet in Ardres- not too expensive either and completely au fait with ferry and tunnel schedules.

Have a wonderful time and safe home again!!!

I'm sat here in the wind and the rain with, 5 years to go to retirement,thinking wouldn't it be nice just to hitch up an go off to the sun. You are making me jealous.Have a good time amd let us know about the rally on your return.Our Heritage is to new to be a classic, but she who must be obeyed says I might be if I empty the loo(its raining horizontal).

Peter,please don't wish your time away.it will come all too soon and then there will not be enough time for everything.I remember when we were younger and at work full time we were so prepared for every trip days in advance.NOW we are retired it is always a mad dash the day before we leave because "tomorrow" has suddenly arrived "AGAIN"!!!! Mind you if we do start early HIMSELF forgets what he has packed and we either leave something behind or go with 2 of most things!! Hetty Heritage is nearly kitted out for our first outing TOMORROW! Hurrah!!!
