Or you could try The Monks Muir on the A1 to the east of the city if you can'y get in there.

We stayed at Linwater caravan park (Linwater .co.uk). It is first class the amenities are spotless and the owner is very helpful. She is always willing to help, without being intrusive and nothing is too much trouble. We were made to feel most welcome and will certainly go back there again.

hi john,stopped here great site close to city but very quiet site,bus stop right outside 20 mins and your in city centre. bob.

Great site, but not a lot to do within walking distance. Bus stop straight outside the gate that takes you into the city centre. There is a pub at the end of the road (Brewers Fayre type of thing) but not a lot else.

which one? we have been to Slatebarns several times. great little site. very clean and tended by friendly owners. walk into village of roslin there are shopsfor provisions and 2 pubs. 6 miles to princes street. go on the bus easier as parking can be awful.
