...Eds Caravan Floor Again...

Hi All,

Many thanks to all you who answered my problems,

I have now drilled forty 10mm holes four to six inches apart in my cararvn floor, The delam goes 3 foot in from the door entrance and about four foot down the van, i have got one kit already but may need a second,The floor is also supported underneath and its ready for the adheshive to go in,

One small problem is that i have drilled right through the floor in three places, can i plug the hole underneath sucessfully with a dowl and then some duk tape, Secondly although i have drilled up to four foot down the van,the holes here still do not appear to have anything between the floor wood so do i keep drilling down the van,Many thanks for replys,,

hi,eddie, you need to plug any seams or holes on the underside.the ones you have drilled through should be plugged and sealed.i used brown packing tape 3inch stuff.if not all the glue will run onto the ground outside when filling from inside.also any vents in the near location of your work area should be sealed.you only drill holes in the floor where it feels soft and spingy,if it feels solid leave it.M
