Elddis Crusader Zephyr water pump

I bought a new Elddis Crusader Zephyr June 2019. I only managed to use it for three days last year for a variety of reasons.
I am getting it ready to go away next week but the water pump isn't working. The fuse is OK. The calibration light is fine - flashing every five seconds. However the pump won't come on at all. Any ideas?

Can you explain how you went about testing the pump?

As far as I am aware your Elddis has the following:

  • Highflow submersible pump with intelligent controller and inline filter - turns the pump off when the water runs out
Have you submersed the pump in the full aquaroll??
 
Thanks for all your help. I eventually sorted it and it was the water pump which annoyed me as i have only used it three times.
 
Hello Mirikai,

With the whale system in your caravan, it designed to protect the pump from abuse, so it should last very long time. Because it has failed prematurely, you should ask your dealer to replace it free of charge.

As a bit of an insurance, many caravanner's opt to carry a spare pump just in case.
