Elddis xplore range

Hi
I have been looking at the Elddis explore range of vans, does anyone have any experience of the quality and reliability of them, looks like they also have a 10yr damp warranty. It would probably be a 4 berth and would stay on a seasonal site. I see that there is a review on explore 554 on here which is looking good.
Many thanks

I've had an Avante now coming up four years. While the body shell is good with a few reservations (see below) the internal construction standards left much to be desired even after a return visit to the factory. The bonded construction includes bonding in such things as locker frames and pump connections. Good idea until you have to change one, when it becomes a much bigger operation than if the fitting had been installed with traditional screws and mastic.
There may be a problem if you want more than two keys ( or need to replace one); and some of the small details make you wonder if the 'designer' has ever spent even a night in a caravan.

I think that could be said for any caravan designed in the UK. I've not had a foreign van so don't know if they are any better.

In the magazines annual consumer survey Eldiss are consistantly bottom. Unless the new owners improve them considerably I would not buy one.

We looked at the Elddis Xplore range prior to purchasing our Lunar. Did not like the layout and thought they were over priced. Glad we chose the Lunar.
