Eldiss 550 odessey hot water drainage

Need some help. My future farther in law picked up his first van on Saturday. 2008 model. Did hand over from dealer etc took it home. They went on holiday to spain on monday. He has phoned me to say that he forgot to drain the water from the heater.

I spoke to his son who has access to the van and tried to explain to him where the yellow valve to drain the water would be but he can not find it (he is not a caravan person)

I said i would ask on here for some help and then phone him to explain where it is so he can drain it. Otherwise it will be a 200 mile round trip for me.

Any help would be great
 
hi ive got an elddis 544 which i think is similar to your van,my drain plug is on the off side under the front seat.lift the seat cushion and it should be towards the front of the van.hope this helps.
 
Our Elddis drain plug is also under the right hand seat(as you face the front - get mixed up between offside and nearside lol)
