fter very recent experience please be very wary of the Redarc Tow Pro Elite, unit I bought through Outback Equipment is faulty and all that Redarc or Outback Equipment could do when asked for help is to blame myself, state that it is all wiring, had to have only Redarc installers diagnose, not any other person is able to have wiring experience, I was called a liar by both Redarc and Outback Equipment,

Please all be very wary of either of these companies or product they do not work in my experience

This post would be more useful if you provided all the facts rather than just use it to bash suppliers! presumably you took up the manufactures offer to diagnose the problem, what was the outcome? In the UK if the equipment supplied was faulty, one would be covered by various consumer rights.

Both companies have denied any response other than abuse and this claim for consumer protection has been accepted by ACCC, this post as in the first few words is to warn other users there are problems, product and supplier must be used otherwise warning is useless

This is a UK-based forum with a few contributors from the EU - in almost all cases we use automatic over-run hitches with cable-operated brakes - until very recently, electric brakes were illegal here on this size of trailer so you're unlikely to find anyone here with experience of electric brake controllers.

then ignore this warning, someone attempts to help others and cops abuse, keep your UK and EU to yourselves good luck
