Electric flush

Hi there

First time out with new 'van and had a problem with elecric flush on the loo. Press the blue button and you can hear the pump but no water is flushed out. The tank was full at the time so just thought someone out there may have an idea before we call in the service team.

Sounds like the pipe has come off your pump, it happened to me I just used the shower head to flush until I got it back to the dealers.J.Lo

I had the same problem with my electric flush after I had refilled the tank. It worked again after towing the caravan home so I suppose it must have been an air lock and the movement of the caravan while towing cleared it!

I had this trouble and it proved to be a blockage, presumably at the inlet to the pump. I pushed a hose down into the filling point of the cistern, turned on the tap and let it run until it overflowed back out of the filling point. A certain amount of gunge came out. This action was sufficient to dislodge the blocking material, and the electric flush has worked fine since. It seems that the red fluid we buy to add to the flush water does not have biocidal properties. This is rather silly.
