Electric Lead

Morning,

We were the proud owners on Saturday of picking up our new van. I now have 3 Electric leads! does anyone know if anybody requires a spare electric lead? it is still wrapped up, not sure of the length.

Thanks

Rob.

Rob. I ended up with three leads so I cut approx. 1m. off one, connected up a heavy duty 13amp plug one end of the offcut and a caravan socket to the other and a new plug to the remaining length of lead. By using this adaptor and the remaining length of lead I can now plug my van in at home whilst on the drive for the battery, fridge, hoovering, etc. It is also handy if the occassional overnight guest came to stay.

I have also three leads, and once needed all three (linked up) to plug in at a Caravan Club Rally were they had more vans than the small commercial site was designed to take. To get electric we had two vans connected to each EHU with splitters, but to reach I needed to link all my cables. You can buy an adopter to plug your caravan into your house for pennies in most caravan shops.

Hi Colin, William,

Thanks for your comments, i already have an adapter for charging my van on the drive, i do this before each outing, i will more than likely keep the extra lead as you never know when it might be needed.

thanks again.
