hello there im new to caravanning and uinfortunatley in need of a little advice. we have an early 90's abi jubille pioneer
ill start at the beginning as its a little difficult to explain
i tested all the electrics prior to setting off on our trip hooked up to the house mains.
on arrival i had no power to the 12v side of the van when on site hook up 240v was fine. under the bench we have the 240 coming in to a rcd for 240v and a feed off to a grey box with logic 1 on the side with a red "mains on" rocker switch with a 5a fuse (blown) the leisure battery terminals are fed on the top of the unit and 2 20a feeds off to somewhere. now on my cupboard there is a small unit with 3 switches (awning light, pump, caravan/off/car switch and a battery power indicator)
possibly a zig style unit.
now i replaced the 5a fuse in the box only to have it blow when i switch the red rocker on.
just wondered where to start looking to fault find, could it be on the 12v or 240v side.
any help appreciated
thanks ian
