Electrics-old car/new caravan

Will the 'grey plug' on my new caravan still work OK on my 1997 Peugeot or will I need to re-wire the 'grey socket' on the car

It will work OK but if you want to use the fridge on tow (12V) then you need to wire the centre pin in the 12S grey socket to earth via the black wire in the 7 core cable
