Was chuffed to pick a vent grille from my local dealer for next to nothing, apparently it's been sitting on the shelf for years so he was glad to get rid of it, fitted it straight away when I got home.....then my luck ran out as I tightened the fixing screw a quarter turn the screw snapped. While the vein in my forehead started to throb only the fact my 5 year old was watching me prevented the air turning blue.....can anyone please tell me that I dont need to buy a whole vent kit just to get the white plastic fixing screw.

Any advice as to where to purchase said item would be much appreciated and is it recommended the vent be siliconed to the van as well.

Robert - I think Jeff is referring to silicone sealing the fixed part of the vent to prevent water ingress rather than sealing the vent cover.
