just bought a van with this fridge
has 3 way switch...works on gas so far
i have installed 240 but can't see any wires inside the fridge to connect to ..
have looked everywhere except behind the fridge as reluctant to remove it
Any help appreciated

Don't understand your statement. Do you mean you have connected to the EHU or you have installed a new 240 (should be 230 now) volt system in the caravan? In any case the wires won't be 'inside' the fridge.

I had one of these back in 1978!.
The electric wiring for 230 and 12v is immediately behind the top control panel at the front.
Originally Electrolux supplied them with a mains lead with a 3 pin plug and 5 amp fuse.It is quite possible the original wire is still attached with plug sitting on top of the fridge!

yes a bit unclear
i have installed hook up, breakers and sockets
I am looking around the fridge to find the 240 v cables, mentioned in the fridge handbook so that i can extend and put a three pin plug on them

Sorry WC, we still run on 240V over here, just as they use 220V in Europe. The EU changed the nominal voltage to 230 but then added a tolerance that allowed 240 and 220 to continue to be used.

Another classic Eurofudge!
