Guess what I've just done?

Sent an email with plenty of gossip to who I thought was my friend, but when I re-read it, I realised I'd sent it to a person who I've never met and is someone who bought something from me on Ebay.

Oh the shame of it! I've just gone through my address book and deleted several entries.

I have a pal who now lives in Australia, so it's great to keep in touch mostly by forwarding e-mail jokes etc. Anyway,to cut a long story short, his name is Duncan, and so is our ministers! I have the ministers e-mail address in my address book as my eldest daughter and his daughter are pals. I'm sure you can guess where this is going. You know when you forward an e-mail and click away not paying enough attention, all of a sudden you've sent the minister a rather explicit e-mail!

Needless to say i removed the address, probably to the ministers disappointment!

It can be evn worse if you send a juicy attachment thinking that the recipient will share your sense of humour, and then find out they don't. Or worse again, the Company sees it.

On the same lines.

I was working for an agency, and decided to quit because the job was awful. So I typed out my resignation, and thought I would fax it to my wife just for her to check grammar etc. Well I faxed it to the boss of the company I was on hire to by mistake. In the letter I had gone on about how I received no help from the company I was on hire to. Even to the extent of naming the company boss who I was working for. Embarrased was not the name for how I felt when he handed it back to me. Still I did tell him that now he would not be surprised why I had quit. I was just pleased to get out of the place as quick as I could.

Oh dear Frank! What a mistake!

There's nothing worse than working for a bad organisation though, glad you managed to escape.

Hi Tina

I just came on the computer to send you an email actually but the email is not working!

I'll try again tomorrow. I haven't even had time to reply to a txt message my friend sent me earlier.

Life.
