Insider info re a press bunfight for some new up market cars.

Some of the "cream" of motoring journo's gathered to try out new car.

An ageing retired journo type invited along due to his longevity in the biz is sat in the driving seat of very expensive up market car and asks about reversing sensors. The guy assigned to look after him explains about the beeping sensor as you approach the obstacle behind.

The journo gent selects reverse and floors the throttle, high power car slams into the wall behind and was reported to be a write off!

The old jouno dadn't grasped the fact that the beep sound would be to warn you to apply the brakes, not that the sensor applied the brakes for you 🙂
