Hi again, another question i've got the enduro mover, i arrived home today and tried to put the caravan up the drive, it took longer to put up the drive than the journey home after the weekend, has anyone else got problems with it cutting out, i've got an 85amp battery which i think isn't big enough, any ideas?

Cheers

How heavy is your van ?

How old is the battery ?

Is the charger in the van working ok ?

Is it a long drive ? is it steep ?

Is the battery being charged from you car whilst towing ?

If you have used it to move from your pitch & it has taken a while ? if your journey home did not take long, you might not have put a lot of charge back in, & if its a old battery, you need to get it checked.....

I have a 110amp on mine ....

Hi Sproket, the van is about 1550kgs, the battery is about 2yrs old, the charger is working ok as its a new van, the drive is about 10mtrs long and a slight incline and its chuckies on the drive, the journey home was about an hour and never used the mover to hook it on the vehicle, the guy at the dealer tested the battery to be fine so i dont know

Any ideas again

I think you are loosing the signal from the remote back to the brains in the van ? or the battery is going flat quickly

You need to check that the van charger is charging....

Sounds like the Battery is on its way out...

Did the dealer do a drop test on the battery ?

on mine there is a wire what hangs down for the aerial to pick the signal up, i can only presume that yours has one also ?

They only go very slow, mine sometimes cut out, but i put that down to wandering about & watching whats happening...

i have a 110amp battery and if i go away and dont have electric the mover cuts out if the battery is too low. i then plug it in to the mains to move it while hooked up, works for me.
