Englethwaite Hall CC nr Carlisle - Best pitches and Satellite...

Hi there, We are off to Englethwaite Hall next week for a few days and wondered if many of you people have been.

What pitches or pitching area is best (assuming there is much choice when I get there of course)

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (well behaved) ages 6&7. This is also our 1st time using a sight without facilities, hope it goes OK!!!

Anyway another question is can i get a sky dish to work on this sight as I realise it is surrounded by tree's?

Anyone else going next week??

The south pitches downhill of but facing the water taps was where we were I seem to remember

The pitches just in front of the wardens office are the best.

If you get a pitch surrounded by tree`s you may as well forget it as there is little chance of getting a signal.

I thought that we were on a pitch in line with the wardens office and facing south but its a while ago and memory fades
