Eriba 12v lights not working (not all)

I have an 8 year old Eriba 320 GT

Just been away for a week, when packing all the 12v lights worked, when arrived at first site the light over the kitchen and the one in the toilet would not work.

Swapped the fuse with the front set, but, no success. Checked the bulbs, but, no success.

The wires go behind the inside lining so not able to trace where they go and where I would expect there is a break.

Does anyone have an idea of what to check next.

Check the wiring behind the switch that controls the lights , check for loose or corroded connections, and for power on teh relevant wires.

Thank you for the advice. I have checked the switch and isolated light fitting and both are working OK. The cable supplying the light does not have any power.

As you have been unable to find a fault at the switch or the fitting, then that really only leaves the cables. You could spend a lot of time trying to expose the wires and to check them. I'd be inclined to run a new cable and simple cut and forget the old one. for simplicity you may need to get some miniature decorative trunking to hide teh new cable.

Tenacity has won the day. The fault appeared to be two fuses blown, the first was a 2A near the booster and the second was the 7.5A in the main fuse panel, strangely in the user manual this should have controlled other devices which still worked.
