That's a sobering website - particularly at Christmas. Four of my son's friends are recorded on the map (all within a few miles of home), in 2004 and 2007 - needless to say young drivers (or passengers)! Sad that every pin on the map records someone's loved ones!

Am a retained fire fighter here in NI, and entered my postcode..............
Remember being at quite a few of these in our area, one in particular when a six year old boy died in a two car collision, with the car he was in being driven by his 17 year old brother, a few days short of Christmas day.
Still remember his wee face.
that was about 7 years ago, still brings a lump to my throat, and a tear to my eye......

Thats why I treasure my time away with my kids in our van, Priceless.

I checked out our two local areas. 15 killer accidents, drink driving was the problem in 12 of the accidents and one of the accidents claimed the life of the young drunk driver his pal and a retired couple.
In two others drugs were the major factor.
