Every Little Helps

Hi,

A few months ago we changed our Credit Card to the company that promotes itself " as every little helps ". Well today we received £56 in tokens, so that's the RAC Car & Caravan Recovery paid for the next year. I will save the other £40 or so towards the ferry to France in 2008. Thanks Malcolm for that tip.

We have one of those, and as long as you don't let it make you buy from there just because you get the points, I see no downside.

On the other hand, we have just got a card from a certain supermarket now owned by a giant American retailer, which give 2p off every litre of fuel bought in their petrol stations. As they are often the cheapest anyway, this offers a very useful further saving!

Of course I expect they will stop this in due course - at which point they can have their card back.

We have the Asda 2p off a litre card as well. We use it exclusively for fuel. You get a 1% cash back in instore vouchers too but they have announced that will no longer apply to fuel purchases.

We have a local Tesco too, both charge 93.9 per litre for diesel on the pump. 20 miles away, there is a much bigger Tesco Extra...they charge 95.9p per litre..... so that's what Extra means, and I thought it was to do with stocking range.
