How do sites think £3 per visitor for an hour is acceptable!!! No site facilities used so how is that fair?

I can understand your point but sites are allowed to charge whatever they like.
We can vote with our tow hitches and go somewhere else instead if we consider the fees to be excessive though

I would think it would have been in the conditions when you booked and if so you would have no comeback. Pays to read them before you book. Daylight robbery though.
The CC makes no charge for visitors and the C&CC £1.50.
 
A site we use charges £5 a car to come to us the people dont count so we tell them to park up we. pick them up at the gate no charge
