External BQ Gas point

I bought a new Lunar Quasar 462 last year. This summer on trying to connect the gas pipe to the external point I discovered it is not just a 'push on' nozzle but appears to require a special connection. I fortunately had packed my old Calor propane regulator so was able to use my Cadac that way.

Can anyone advise me on the type of connector I need to buy for this external gas point?

It is brass nipple that snaps into the fitting when the tap above it is turned off. When the tap is turned on you can't remove it-presumably a safety thing. As it is nearly a new van I would go back to the dealer and ask for one.I was under the impression that all new vans came with them supplied.Ours was in the cutlery draw,a previous new van had it in the plastic wallet with all the handbooks and equiptment books. If not, they are not very expensive from just about any dealer. Don't forget a Jubilee type clip to secure the hose to it.Happy Barbequeing-when or if it stops raining!!

Also be aware there are 2 sizes. The difference is the size of the bore. if you do not use the awning and use a short length of gas pipe use the smaller bore. But if using a longer length of gas pipe - use the larger bore due to pressure drop.
