External Gas BBQ Points

Went to use the quick release BBQ point on my new Coachman 2010 and found I couldn't fit the connector and the BBQ hose at the same time. I had to push the hose & jubilee clip on after I had fitted the connector and do the reverse afterwards.

It seems Coachman have changed the BBQ point to a fixed version rather than the previous model year and the connector supplied with the van is now too long.

Anyone else had the same problem or have a solution?

Have just replaced my 2007 Coachman with a 2010 and had no problems with using the external gas barbeque point in exactly the same way as the old one.

I used the supplied connector but I must be doing something wrong. Does your gas point have any movement or is it fixed?

fixed and just push up to release the same as the old one. didn't need to change connection on the cadac just pushed on and away we went
