External Water Supply

I have recently purchased a Compass Rallye 634 which has an internal pump and water tank.

It also has an external Whalesource water hosepipe to connect it up to provide a permantent water supply.

The problem I have is the manual for the caravan is not clear on which way the internal valve has to be positioned and also in what postion the tap pump switch should be, there is also no mention of how you stop the internal tank from filling up.

If anybody has used this setup I would appreciate some guidance as to what postions the various valves and swithces should be set at whist using the external permanent water supply.

I have visions of a flooded caravan.

Thanks in anticipation

Hi John,

I have a 640 with probably the same system. The tank valve needs to be shut, otherwise it fills up and the pump in the central position, ie. OFF as the taps now work like those at home, ie. from the pressurte of the water.

Hope this makes sense.

Alan
