You have now answered a question for me sir. I kept an eye out for you on today's Songs of Praise on BBC TV this evening celebrating Easter from Hereford Cathedral. There were many high ranking civic dignities in the front of the congregation sitting there in their robes, chains of office, etc. but no sign of your good self or your lady. The call of the caravan must have outwayed the call of the Church. I think I spotted a lowly milk maid to the rear of the throng - pretty little country wench - but I may have been mistaken.

Colyn, how many more times do I have to tell you to get to Specsavers - that was the town crier.

My wife, son and myself all attend Specsavers for our eye tests, etc. However the young lady I saw did not appear to be dressed as if she was in office for the town and she was smiling - definitely not crying -she had a beaming smiling happy face. Probably she was in this frame of mind in anticipation of your home coming.

I'm not sure of the BBQs jo-anne. Yes they have the funny loo although I never saw them, I always use our own facilities although Her Ladyship did and she said they were odd, the seat was lower than normal with a big hole, that's how she described them.

I liked Crossways, nice wardens and it reminded me of Low Park Wood in Cumbria, lots of trees. A railway line ran along one side and the other side of the tracks was the CC&C site which wasn't wooded as far as I could see. I don't like open sites, I like some greenery. If I wanted an open site I'd pitch in a field :O)

Because we mainly use our own facilities we are trying CLs a bit more this year, one in Worcestershire and two in Somerset.

We have also booked a week in Norfolk at Sandringham, week in Suffolk at White House Beach and a week in Cornwall at Treamble Valley. No doubt there will be a few more weekends fitted in :O)
