Hi Allan & Gill.

We emailed this site with a view to a three night stopover on the way to Rosemarkie this April.

It sounds absolutely great. Unfortunately we could not book it as,apparently, the site is closed while some major civil engineering work is completed.

There used to be another site at Faichemard but it is now listed as closed.

If you simply Google 'Faichemard' you'll find the link to the site with pictures etc.

We eventually opted for a little cl - Torgoyle Lodge,Dalchreichart,Glenmoriston (Mrs Grange) - its in the CC sites directory under Invermoriston.Woodland site by riverside.

Again, you can google it and have a look.

There again Faichemard may be open again by the time you want to go.

Hope this helps.

Dave.

Hamer, of course you can ask, it is just that we are very interested in spending our summer holidays there, and we feel sure Jack our west highland terrier will enjoy getting back to his roots so as to speak.

Have you stopped there? Or could you offer any information on the surrounding area?

Kind regards Allan & Gill
