Ann, you should never use any household detergent to wash your car or caravan as they contain a large quantity of salt to soften the water this salt will crystalise in every nook and crany that you fail to rinse adequately and will instantly start to corode to your pride and joy. a good quality pupose made cleaner is the only thing you should use. I use fenwicks for the van and auto glym for my cars, I know both products are expensive but so where my cars and van and i wish for them to look good for as long as i own them.
