Any recomendations for a site near as poss to the centre of Falkirk, I'm not bothered about midges either

The nearest I can think of is Beecraigs. Never stayed there but it looks nice. Im sure there will be more but cant think of them.

Agree with Colin

We have stayed at Bee Craigs several times, lovely site in the forest. about 7 miles drive to falkirk by A803, or alternatively you can get a direct train from linlithgow to Falkirk. Site is easily accesible from M9, , we have a 26ft outfit and havent had any problems on the approach roads to the site.

If you're thinking about Beecraigs, can I suggest you check that it has re-opened. I'm fairly sure I read that it was closed due to a fire.

Hi Ally,

Witches Craig is a good site, been in the Practical Caravan Mag Top 100 for a few years, but a wee bit further away. 13 miles and half an hour according to AA route planner.

We've been to it and can highly recommend it.

It has a website.

The fire at Bee Craigs was almost 4 years ago, it has been open again for a couple of years.
