I know you are bound for Cornwall Parksy. Polmanter I think. Perhaps you should consider Looe instead. ;)

I dropped myself in it there didn't I?
We're currently pitched at Barley Meadow, a lovely well run site 5 minutes away from the A30 past Exeter.
It's a lovely sunny afternoon for the summer solstice and we'll complete our journey to St Ives in the morning.
I nearly died when we pitched up because 230v wasn't working.
Everything that's supposed to be switched on was on, and I began to wonder if something had been disturbed during the recent work on the caravan.
Thankfully a quick unplug and ug in again on the ehu bollard solved the problem, so here I am, cold lager in hand sitting outside in the sunshine chuckling at the replies to my comment. :p

Ours is a holiday in two halves. For the first two weeks, we have our 5 year old grandson with us. For the second two weeks its playtime for Thingy. Now if I could only find a decent pint in Cornwall, life would be rosy.

However, past experience says the only good beer in Cornwall travels down with you. Really, Betty Stoggs, tastes like the old bat has washer her tights in it. St Austell beers are on a par with the old Kimberley Ales from Notts, basically undrinkable and Doom Bar, that blessed stuff is even invading the Derbyshire pubs. More insidious than Japanese Knotweed.

There I go, trying to remember if there is enough space in the boot for some more Theakstons.
