You were lucky that it was raining when you ventured into the lands of West Mercia Colin. I had my peasants posted on Offa's **** but when they came to light the bonfires to notify us of your pending arrival their tinder boxes wouldnt strike because of the damp.Hi all you gals and guys - thank you for the interest in the request for me to return to this forum. I have been very quiet for the past few months as some time in the summer there were a few postings which I found very upsetting and insulting - not to me personaly but in general to the human race - the Moderators had the decency to remove them (not from K***a but from regular contributors who suprised me). However as there is such demand for me to return HERE I AM.
Regarding Lord B and his idle threats to kill all Welshmen in Hereford on a Sunday I can say I have ventured into that area and returned home alive and well - this gives me the impression that his bark is worse than his bite and he is a big softy with a true heart of gold, however I may be wrong.
I hope that you have all had a wonderful Christmas and that a bright and prosperous new year awaits you all.
I have now sold my MOTORHOME and bought a 2007 model Ace Jubilee Envoy with fixed bed - very comfortable so I assume that from reading other postings regarding m********s I am accepted as member of the crowd again.
Once again best wishes to you all for the coming new year.
Lord B. I was pleasantly surprised at the developments that have taken place in Hereford since the mid 1970s. As a young building surveyor I spent a few weeks in your fine city doing survey work and stayed in a very nice hotel to the right of the covered open market area. The hotel was a genuine "olde world" structure with beautiful period architecture both inside and out.Hi all you gals and guys - thank you for the interest in the request for me to return to this forum.
